Crossing Over

Crossing Over is now on DVD and apparently playing on TV in some areas of the US.  I enjoyed working with Jim Sturgess from the UK and I think our scenes came off well.

August 24th 2008 Jedi Gym takes the UK by storm!

Thumbnail image for Lando.JPGOK all you UK fans... get ready.  I just got the word that "Jedi Gym" will be in official competition at the 2008 Raindance film festival in London!  This is the international equivalent to  the Sundance film festival in the USA.  Of course we are stoked about that!  In other news, "Crossing Over" was rescheduled to open in the USA in October 2008 by The Weinstein Co. and Dreamworks has scheduled "A Thousand Words" to be released in October 2009 in the USA.  I will be in both of these features, along with Harrison Ford, Jim Sturgess, Ray Liotta, Eddie Murphy and other very fine actors.  There is more news to come but this is all I can say at the moment other than it's all very good news and anyone who is a fan of mine will be HAPPY!
Peace!

Finished my very funny (at least in my and director Brian Robbins' opinion) cameo with Eddie Murphy yesterday and I had a great time.  It was cool to see the wheels working in Eddie's mind trying to come up with a gem to button up our scene while we were filming, but of course he did and it made the scene even funnier...that's why he makes the BIG bucks!  The crew laughed at what we both did and everyone on set was happy.  Eddie seemed to be doing the "I'm in character on and off camera" deal which threw me a bit cause I would talk to him between takes and he would only respond with physical reactions so I threw on the irresistible charm and he told me he liked me but by pounding his heart and pointing at me.  The deal is his character only has 1000 words to speak before he dies so for a full third of the movie he doesn't talk!  He was totally cool though, just not in a verbal kind of way.
The other news is the black comedy I did called "Identity" starring Samantha Morton and Jason Patric comes out next week (June 27th).  I haven't seen the final cut, but I do know that the ending changed a bit from when it screened at Sundance to when it was screened at The Cannes Film Festival last year.  I'll be at the premiere and party in Santa Monica hopefully with a big smile on my face.  Stay tuned for news on "Crossing Over", the feature I have coming out in August that stars Harrison Ford and Ray Liotta.  All my scenes are with Jim Sturgess of "Across The Universe" and "21".  Oh, and Jedi Gym comes out on You Tube July 3rd!!!  Watch for that big internet hit!  Till next time...
